Wow! 2013 already - where does the time go? I hope you are having a great new year so far, and that the rest of 2013 is especially fruitful for you!
Did you make any New Year's Resolutions? I didn't. I have in the past, usually related to losing weight, but I usually give up on them before the end of the month. This time I'm just trying to continue some of the smarter eating and living things I've been working on for months now. The New Year does tend to bring a feeling of hope though, so in that regard, I hope that myself and all my family, friends, and loved ones are blessed with love, happiness, prosperity, and good health this year!
On to the crafting! This week's Paper a la Mode Challenge over at The Outlawz is an ANYTHING GOES challenge - gotta love those! I made this quick little card using a digi from the talented Anne Fenton. I printed it directly onto the cardstock so that when I cut and folded it, it would be perfect for a basic card that just needed a few little embellishments. Sometimes I love cards with lots of layers, and sometimes I like to get back to the basics.
It's also nice this time of year to do something without holiday or winter colors - the pretty colors sort of give me a lift!
